Holiday Builders Ranks Top Three Among Best Places to Work in the U.S.

Professional Builder Magazine’s Annual Ranking Selects Holiday Builders Among Nation’s Best Places to Work
MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ — Holiday Builders, an award-winning homebuilder celebrating 25 building quality homes, today celebrated being selected as one of the top three large builders to work for by the editors of Professional Builder magazine.
Professional Builder noted that Holiday Builders was selected because of its recognition that the greater part of its success is due to its Employee-Owners and the company’s positive culture. Holiday’s executive team invests time and resources to ensure that its Employee-Owners are heard, respected and motivated through unique benefits, a good work/life balance, educational opportunities and group recreational activities.
“This distinction is a tribute to our strong commitment to our Employee-Owners and to maintaining a lively and fun work environment,” said Kim Shelpman, CEO of Holiday Builders. “This recognition exemplifies Holiday Builders’ dedicated and committed Employee-Owners who tirelessly strive to achieve excellence — both in the homes we build and in the home building experience we provide to our homebuyers. We are honored to be recognized by the industry’s leading magazine as one of the Best Places to Work in the country.”
Holiday Builders has a Culture Committee that actively seeks to recognize Employee-Owners through its ‘Walking the Talk’ and ‘Pay it Forward’ programs. These programs empower each person to recognize excellence by nominating other Employee-Owners to be recognized for their contributions. In addition, the company encourages Employee-Owners to contribute to the communities they serve by participating in projects such as Toys for Tots, Homes For Our Troops, Project Paws, March for Babies, Cell Phones for Soldiers and Holiday Hunger Helpers.
Holiday Builders has built more than 30,000 single-family homes throughout Florida, Texas and Alabama, with more than 50 proven floor plans and approximately 180 elevations.
