A community  spokesman  said they were getting  a more sustainable source of power and a return on their venture was possible now the neighbourhood had put its money into a community solar system, rather than relying on commercial energy.

In doing so they will  get more predictable power prices  for their church and community ,  inadition to  cutting reliance on electricity generated from fossil fuels .
