Travel Advice

After a recent stint of cross country travel with a toddler in tow, I feel the need to share what I learned with other Moms. If you have any tips to share please email me

1. Always carry a decongestant and tylenol with you. Its amazing how fast their little ears stuff up during take off and landing.

2. Have a bag of goodies. Make sure to have good stuff like drawing materials or whatever interests your child.

3. Traveling with small kids and pets will only lead to insanity. Make sure that you have an adult for each pet carrier going into the plane with you and each small child.

4. Bring a towel. This is either good to let the child snuggle with and keep warm or use to cover any pet carriers you bring with.

5. Bring extra snacks. Airplane food is very gross. The eggs dont look like eggs and the food touches each other. There will be a hunger strike if you dont have something in your bag.

6. When on flights of over 4 hours make sure there is an in flight movie.

7. Dont forget the money to rent the headsets so your kid can watch the in flight movie.
